　　对于雅思阅读而言，一些雅思阅读关系词需要特别引起重视，会一些关键词有利于更好的掌握文章的意思，为此新航道们特别整理几种重要的雅思阅读关系词，分享给大家，希望对考生们有所帮助。

　　一、转折

　　想必广大考生一定不会对雅思阅读文章中的转折连词感到陌生，其中大家遇见最多的诸如but, however, while, although, yet, nevertheless, notwithstanding等等，而且我们知道出现转折的地方一般都是作者重点强调的地方，也是雅思考官最喜欢出题的地方，有题为证：

　　例如，剑8 Test2 Passage3选择题第34题The experiment described in paragraph B, 此题定位于B段末句的后半部分“but as the experiment revealed, even when not consciously considered, smells register.”,其含义为“就算没有这样的意识，气味仍然会给人留下印象。”对应正确答案为A选项shows how we make use of smell without realising it.，这里便考察大家对but后面这个转折的句子的理解。

　　再比如，剑8 Test2 Passage3第35题What is the writer doing in paragraph C?, 此题定位与C段第三句“While it is true that the olfactory powers of humans are nothing like as fine as those possessed by certain animals, they are still remarkably acute.”,其含义为“虽然人类的嗅觉确实没有某些动物那样，但是仍然相当敏锐。” 故正确答案为C选项rejecting a common belief，此题也是考察考生对while这一转折结构的理解。

　　二、并列

　　并列结构也是雅思阅读经常出题的考点，我们常见的并列结构有and, or, as well as, not only……but (also)等，举例如下：

　　例如，剑6 Test3 Passage2标题匹配题第14题KEY POINT TWO，本段首句“The literature on goal-setting theory suggests that managers should ensure that all employees have specific goals and receive comments on how well they are doing in those goals.”即为主题句，其中“specific goals”和“comments on” 分别与标题vii Establish targets and give feedback 中的“targets”和 “feedback”为近义词，此题便很好的考查到了考生对并列结构的把握。

　　再比如，剑7 Test2 Passage2 summary第26题He feels this would help to change the attitudes of both 26 ........................ and.........................，文章最后一段的末句“It could go a long way, he says, to shifting consumers as well as farmers towards a more sustainable system of agriculture.”中的shift与题目中的change对应，文中as well as 连接的便是两个并列成分，符合题目中的and并列结构，由此可知答案是consumers和farmers。
