　　The cartoon aims at informing us of the significance of cooperation. Definitely, no once can deny the importance of it. Being patient enables us to achieve our objectives more smoothly and realize our dreams more rapidly. Those who have the patience to do little things perfectly and keep optimistic in desperate situations are more likely to recognize themselves profoundly, discover their shortcomings and space to make progress and thus eventually seize the opportunity. To further illustrate the importance of being patient, I would like to take Thomas Edison as a case in point: how could he, one of the greatest inventor throughout the history of mankind who experienced numerous unsuccessful attempts, invent the first electric lamp without patience and persistence ?

　　Accordingly, at no time should we underestimate the power of patience. Furthermore, when coming with setbacks and bottlenecks, instead of giving up easily, what we must do is to accumulate experience, enhance abilities and wait for the appearance of opportunities. “Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly ever acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.” Friedrich Schiller, German dramatist and poet, also once said.

　　People nowadays make decisions as fast as the speed the society develops. They stongly think that patience is not uaually a good stategy which may make them

　　to fall behind others, so that they have to take action now rather than then.But I prefer patience in handling things for few reasons given below.

　　To begin with, one can find a better way to solve things if they don't take action right now. This is because when you get yourself more time to consider the

　　condition you are in, the more clear your mind will become and then you can come up with some better ideas. For exemple, Apple iPhone 4, Steve Jobs' second-

　　to-last gadets prior to his tragic death, suffered from a signal receicer glitch.Steve's coworkers do not hurried to sovle this problem instantly, on the

　　contrary they settle down to collect the best way to handle it.It is not until November the 7th ,2010, three months after iPhone 4s' launch day, did Steve

　　and his engineering team come uo withn a feasible solution. Although it takes a long time for the problem to be settled down, it didn't bring any bad

　　reputation of Steve's company but more turst from its costomers. This effetively teaches us a lesson-when making a decision while facing problems, a patient

　　dicision is very often wise.

　　Futhermore, if someone choose to take action then while they have a quarrel with their friends, it will bring them more calmness when faced with somthing

　　tricky like this. Patience can help you to calm down first and then think cosiderately later to find out what to do.Something similar happend on me when I

　　was in senior high school, it greatly changed my way of coping with these things now. It was a new Monday when I went to take classes as usual, when one of

　　my not-so-close friend came up to me and told me that my close friend Amy said something bad behind me to her. I then felt betrayed and sad because I had no

　　idea why she had to do somthing like this to me. I then thought that I needed to have a fight with her to find out the reason. Fortunately, my English

　　teacher who saw me in depression came to ask me the details. At the same time, she promised that she would help me ask Amy what's really going on, but I have

　　to take a breath and act like nothing happened. It was hard for me at such hard-to-handled condition,but I made it. Soon my teacher told me if was just

　　someone intended to speak ill of her. We are still the most intimate friend till now. I appreciate my teacher who let me know the importance of patience

　　while having problems with my friends.It shows that taking action then while having a quarrel with friends have more advantages over disadvantages.

　　Admittedly, taking action right now may show your confidence when you cooperate with your teamworkers. But a later decision with a better result can not only

　　bring you more confidence but consolidate your position as well. One may holds the opinions that once you didn't make up your mind to choose a direction for

　　your team, you won't be admired in them. It's definetely wrong! On the contrary, if you come up with a later but gorgeous idea, everyone of your team will adore you more.

　　Patience makes perfect! Having more patience while confronting with problems will always do more good than harm.

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: In some circumstances, patience is not a good thing and instead we should take action at once.

　　“Patience is a virtue” is a frequently used saying. In many cultures and society, patience is considered an important principal of good manners and social customs. However there are many circumstances where immediate action is required and patience can be a detriment.

　　Another expression about patience goes, “Good things come to those who wait.” The philosophy behind this is that if you are patient and wait to assess the situation before you act, you will be rewarded. There are many instances where this principle does not apply. Take people who invest in business for example.

　　When Facebook was first started, it was seen as an underdog compared to the other internet networking giants like Yahoo. When the company started up, many people did not invest because they wanted to wait and see how the company got along. There were a few people that did not wait, and now they are worth billions of dollars. Sometimes while waiting for the opportune moment, you miss the biggest opportunities. In the case of business ventures, good things come to those who act.

　　Politics and international relations is another area that most people say require patience. However there are several instances in history that prove a patient country sometimes regrets waiting. During the 1930s, for example, Hitler became increasingly aggressive towards Germany’s neighboring countries. All of Europe and even the League of Nations were reluctant to act, thinking that if they waited and appeased Hitler, then Hitler would eventually stop. In retrospect, everybody agrees that rather than patiently appeasing Hitler, countries should have acted. World War II would have been very different if countries had taken immediate action.

　　There are instances in international relations when quick actions have resulted in disastrous results. Take for example the U.S. War in Iraq. The U.S. Government at the outset of this war regarded this as a “pre-emptive strike” against Iraq and its Weapons of Mass Destruction program. The reasoning behind this was that if the U.S. waited to see if Iraq was actually developing these programs, than the consequence would be Iraq attacking the U.S. So the U.S. and its allies went to war in Iraq and they did not find any weapons. Their hasty actions resulted in the deaths of thousands of Iraqi civilians and a long drawn out war. Sometimes being patient is a good thing when it comes to military actions.

　　Although there are many instances when patience is necessary, there are many occasions when immediate action is required.
